Job Description
BETA is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to join their team, focusing on traffic and transportation design, plan development, and contract preparation. The role involves performing engineering design, preparing plans, assisting with contracts, and leading technical tasks. This position offers opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 4+ years of related engineering experience in traffic and transportation projects
- Fundamentals in Engineering (FE / EIT) certification
- Strong background in traffic and transportation engineering
- Proficiency in Synchro/SimTraffic (Vissim experience is advantageous)
- Experience working with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microstation OpenRoads
- Knowledge of MUTCD, AASHTO and MASSDOT/NHDOT design policy guidelines
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
