Job Description
Work under the supervision of a Charge Nurse to provide supportive care to Bethany Home residents. Must be able to transfer residents using proper lifting technique and according to resident’s care plan.
Requirements
- State of Kansas Nurse’s Aide Certification
- Ability to transfer residents according to individual care plan and safety procedures
- Knowledge and practice of Bethany Home safety procedures, and infection control practices
- Understanding of Bethany Home policies on abuse prevention policy, resident’s rights and confidentiality
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to follow and carry out requests of charge nurse
