Job Description
Work under the supervision of Assisted Living Operator and Assisted Living Nurse to care for Assisted Living residents, dispense medication, and maintain a clean and well-stocked medication cart. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, observing and reporting changes in resident condition, and administering PRN medications as ordered by the Assisted Living Nurse.
Requirements
- State of Kansas Nurse’s Aide Certification and Medication Aide Certification
- Knowledge and practice of the five rights of medication administration
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work well with people, including staff, residents, families and visitors
