Platform DevOps Engineer

Betsson Group is seeking a Platform DevOps Engineer to join their Product Development organization within the Global iGaming space. The role involves managing the platform's infrastructure as code, building self-service platforms, and continuously improving platform efficiency and scalability. This is a globally distributed team working on a multi-brand platform.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and experience in setting up and administering Kubernetes clusters, preferably with experience with AWS EKS and Rancher RKE.
• Strong knowledge and experience of managing Kafka infrastructure in a geo-distributed setup, administration, and configuration.
• Experience working with cloud providers, with AWS as preference, and strong knowledge with Cloud provider services such as EC2, ALBs, VPC, and EKS.
• Experience in building scalable and distributed infrastructure.
• Experience in using versioned source control to manage code changes.
• Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack of Prometheus/Grafana.
• Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, Powershell or similar.
• Experience in using and managing Linux distributions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in IT operations, such as ITIL and DevOps principles.
• Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.
