Medical Assistant - Bilingual (English/Spanish) job opportunity at VIPcare, a primary care practice specializing in patients 65+. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Accredited Medical Assistant program, preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- CPR certification, preferred
- IV Start Certification, preferred
- Phlebotomy experience, preferred
- Knowledge of medical coding, preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA, preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA, preferred
- Working knowledge of common prescription medications
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records
- Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
