Job Description
BetterUp is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to build and integrate their Technical Sales team, bridging customer ambition with technical possibility. This role involves driving discovery, demo execution, and technical win rates with enterprise customers, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate will be a builder focused on launching high-impact solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years in enterprise SaaS, including 5+ leading Solutions Engineering or Technical Sales teams
- Track record of scaling SE orgs from startup to maturity
- Deep knowledge of enterprise integrations, APIs, data architecture, and security frameworks
- Experience partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering
- Background in HR Tech, HCM, or related enterprise platforms (preferred)
- Executive presence and ability to communicate clearly
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and leading through change
