Job Description
The Shift Engineer is responsible for maintaining the environmental conditions of all critical building systems and carrying out PPM tasks and reactive/breakdown works. This role involves fault finding, proactive identification of areas for improvement, and ensuring sub-contractor performance. The engineer will also ensure adherence to HSE regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Ensure routine PPM tasks are completed.
- Actively identify and propose improvements to system performance.
- Ensure timely completion of reactive and breakdown works.
- Administer sub-contractor work approvals and safe operation.
- Operate a Permit to Work System.
- Ensure relevant paperwork is completed.
- Develop a good working relationship with BGIS staff.
