IT Change, Problem & CMDB Specialist

This IT Change, Problem & CMDB Specialist role involves managing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), overseeing change management processes, and ensuring efficient handling of incidents and problems. The role focuses on data integrity, efficient change handling, and effective communication with other IT teams. The Specialist will collaborate with incident and problem management teams to ensure accurate tracking and updates of IT assets and configurations.

Requirements

• Ensure the CMDB is kept up-to-date with accurate records of all IT assets, configurations, and dependencies.
• Regularly audit CMDB data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
• Track and maintain configuration items (CIs) and their relationships.
• Support the Change Management process, ensuring all changes to IT services and assets are accurately reflected in the CMDB.
• Participate in CAB meetings and review changes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure appropriate communication and update of CMDB records.
