Job Description
Bideawee is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide high-quality medical care to in-patient and adoption center animals. The role involves professional animal restraint, blood draws, urinalysis, and assisting in surgical procedures, all while maintaining a clean and organized environment. The company focuses on providing compassionate care for homeless animals.
Requirements
- Proficiency in proper animal restraint.
- Ability to draw blood and place catheters (jugular and femoral catheterization a plus).
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and radiographic technique.
- Ability to administer intravenous drugs and anesthetic agents.
- Basic understanding or ability to learn veterinary software.
- Ability to restrain animals of all sizes, work with blood and feces, and exposure to X-Rays.
- Reliability to work with animals of all sizes and to maintain cleanliness.
