Engineering Manager (Belfast, NI)

Biller Genie is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and inspire multiple Development Pods in their fintech environment. The role requires a hands-on leader with a strong C# development background, capable of managing teams, fostering a culture of growth, and removing blockers. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with people management excellence and provide strategic guidance for engineers.

Requirements

• Provide day-to-day line management and leadership for multiple Development Pods
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and collaborative problem-solving
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business objectives into actionable technical strategies
• Remove blockers and advocate for teams, ensuring resources and support are available
• Guide architectural decisions and technical direction
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Monitor team health, productivity, and delivery metrics
• Mentor engineers at all levels
• Perform other duties as required
