Job Description
Celtic Bank is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on building and scaling software solutions for their lending operations. The role involves driving engineering excellence, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring high-quality, compliant software. The Scrum Master role includes facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming, and contributing to technology strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience managing and mentoring software engineering teams
- Proficiency in C#, APEX, Python, or more than one modern programming language
- Strong background in API development, systems integration, and DevOps principles
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
