Director Statistical Programming (CoE - Technology Solutions)

Director Statistical Programming (CoE - Technology Solutions) position is responsible for implementing global statistical programming ecosystem, providing strategic direction, and leading development and implementation of programming standards and innovative solutions. The role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of statistical computing ecosystem, ensuring infrastructure scalability, security, and alignment with clinical trial needs, and promoting automation for routine tasks. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related discipline, advanced degree preferred, and 15+ years of experience in statistical programming within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO industry.

Requirements

• Work with Head of Statistical Programming to implement global statistical programming ecosystem and provide strategic direction
• Lead the development and implementation of programming standards, best practices, and innovative solutions
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the statistical computing ecosystem
• Ensure infrastructure being scalable, secure, and aligns with clinical trial needs
• Promote automation for routine tasks
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into statistical programming workflows
• Provide technical guidance and training on advanced programming techniques, tools, and industry trends
• Partner with IT, Data Management, and other functions to align SCE with enterprise data strategy
