Job Description
BitMEX is a leading exchange for crypto derivatives, seeking a skilled Engineering Lead to enhance the security, efficiency, and scalability of their custody systems. This role involves leading the development and implementation of secure custody solutions for various cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks, mentoring a team, and staying updated with the latest blockchain technology. The position requires a technical leader with a focus on custody infrastructure and a commitment to building a safe and scalable platform.
Requirements
- Lead the development, and implementation of secure and efficient custody solutions for various cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks.
- Collaborate with the Head of Custody and Trading and Wallet Technology Engineers to define technical strategy and roadmap.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Drive the integration of new cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks into our custody infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to custody and wallet operations.
- Overseeing our build, test, integration and deployment systems, and in partnership with our Dev-ops engineers managing platform change.
