Intern- Desktop Support

Boardwalk Pipelines is seeking an Intern, Desktop Support to provide technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The intern will work under the guidance of experienced IT professionals to learn troubleshooting techniques, customer service skills, and gain exposure to enterprise-level IT environments.

Requirements

• At least 1+ years in a hands-on IT workstation or customer support role
• At least 1 year of experience in hardware lifecycle management and software deployment
• Experience working with PC desktops and laptops
• Familiarity with PC image deployment tools and processes
• Experience scripting and automating software deployment processes across workstation assets
• Troubleshooting & Analysis skills
• Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
• Computer technology troubleshooting capabilities
• Basic knowledge of service desk software, remote control tools, and database connectivity
• Experience with incident tracking software
• Customer service orientation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
