Job Description
Bonnell Aluminum is seeking an Aluminum Extrusion Die Technician to examine dies and press tooling, recommend design modifications, and rework/repair tooling. This role is primarily focused on diagnosing and correcting issues with die tooling, and ensuring proper operation of equipment. The position requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Requirements
- Repair and preventative maintenance of production tooling
- Operate equipment such mills, cranes, die oven use and nitriding system safely
- Ability to wear proper PPE
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of reaction to die tooling under pressure
- Computer literate
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret instructions and diagrams
