Job Description
The Project Engineer III - Substation position focuses on mentorning and project management within a substation design team. The role involves supporting client relations, business development, and providing engineering support for projects. The Engineer will be responsible for physical layout design, protection/control design, relay programming, and substation commissioning.
Requirements
- Mentor and schedule work of junior engineers, designers, CAD operators.
- Manage existing and future project plans and customer relationships.
- Proficient in substation engineering (physical layout, protection/control, relay settings, field support, commissioning, relay testing).
- Perform and direct project design activities.
- Prepare and review complex project documents.
- Supervise work and train Division Project Engineers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent interface skills with all levels of employees.
- Ability to perform other related duties.
- Must be licensed Professional Engineer.
