Job Description
Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program provides comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Greater Boston. They are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide primary, episodic, and rehabilitative care at their primary care clinic and respite facility, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position emphasizes dignity, compassion, and culturally appropriate care.
Requirements
- Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Registered or eligible to be registered with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency
- At least one year of NP/PA experience
- Experience in working with underserved populations, mentally ill, homeless and/or persons with substance use disorders preferred
- Life support training certification (e.g. CPR, BLS, ACLS) from a course that includes a hands-on, in-person component
- Bilingual proficiency preferred
