Production Coordinator II - 1st Shift

Boston Scientific is seeking a Production Coordinator II to assist the production supervisor in leading the production team to achieve daily Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education/work experience.

Requirements

• Understands safety SQDC daily/monthly goals, submits safety improvement ideas
• Encourages and supports a safety and quality first culture – ensures manufacturing personnel are following SOPs
• Partners with supervisor or peers to set Visual Staffing Plans and communicate downtimes to ensure a smooth flow of production
• Monitors daily performance, escalates equipment and component downtimes in a timely manner
• Create and partner with supervisor to execute training plans
• Leads by example, submits continuous improvement ideas, support 5S initiative and encourages team members to do the same
• Participates in kaizen activities, aware and able to sustain lean tools
• Able to use various forms of communication (in-person, Microsoft Teams, email)
• Effectively onboards new team members
• Sustains and leads by example with BSC's Core Values & Behaviors to enable a positive work culture
• Manage aging WIP
• Perform regular inventory audits and work with the core team to resolve
• Close and charge out completed batches
