Senior Database Engineer

Bottomline is a global leader in business payments and cash management, seeking a Senior Database Engineer to join their team in a Hybrid work environment or fully remote. The role involves database engineering, on-call support, and collaboration within a team.

Requirements

• Ten or more years of direct experience working as an Oracle Database Administrator
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools
• Experience with performance tuning utilizing indexes, disk and query optimizations, and other methods
• Experience with database security, replication and failover mechanisms
• Experience with encryption methodologies for databases
• Experience with database clustering techniques
• Experience with Oracle databases and supplemental technologies
• Good to have experience with Postgres
