Job Description
The UPK Teaching Assistant position is for a floating part-time role in Albany, NY. The assistant will support the Pre-Kindergarten Teacher in classroom activities, plan lessons, assist with classroom management, and provide individualized attention to students. The role involves collaboration with the Lead Teacher and the City School District of Albany (CSDA).
Requirements
- Assist in creating and submitting lesson plans.
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher on classroom activities and materials.
- Demonstrate ability to facilitate small group activities.
- Assist in delivering age-appropriate instruction in early literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies.
