The Youth Development Professional supports the delivery of BGCTM programs by engaging members in safe, structured, and engaging activities, promoting positive youth development, and building supportive relationships with members and staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with youth or teens preferred
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse groups
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Must be a minimum of 17 years or older
• Ability to provide 3 references
