Job Description
Join Brookfield Renewable as a Senior Accountant, Consolidations to coordinate and execute the monthly consolidation and close process, prepare supporting schedules, and analyze financial statement disclosures and management reporting. The role requires a recognized professional accounting designation, 3-5 years of experience, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Recognized professional accounting designation from CPA Canada or CPA US
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of progressive work experience with Canadian or US public accounting firm
- Solid analytical abilities, combined with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to proactively establish and maintain effective relationships
- Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with accounting and consolidation systems considered an asset (OneStream, Cognos Controller)
