CHILD CARE MONITOR I

CHILD CARE MONITOR I. Conduct planned activities for the Before and After School Care on-site program to ensure a safe and enriching experience for participants.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program
• Volunteer work, experience, and/or training working with school-age children in a group supervision setting
• Completion of BASCC Comprehensive Child Care Components I and II within the 1st year
• Completion of Florida Department of Children and Families (My Florida) three modules: SNP-10 hours, UDAP-5 hours, and SAP – 5 hours within the 1st year
• 10 hours of approved BASCC Child Care training every year of employment
• Computer skills as needed for the position
