The Pricing Specialist executes a range of workstreams in delivering pricing activities across BT Groups growing suite of products contributing to BT Groups product/service strategy and contributing to innovative pricing solutions in a commoditised marketplace.
Requirements
- Executes pricing strategies that optimise profitability by analysing market trends, competitor pricing, and internal costs.
- Provides commercial pricing support for complex customer requests, balancing customer needs with BTs commercial objectives.
- Supports the development of pricing tools, models and databases to enable consistent, scalable and compliant pricing decisions.
- Conducts market analysis and customer research to inform pricing recommendations, business cases and opportunity win rates.
- Engages closely with Product, Propositions and Trading teams to influence roadmaps and ensure pricing guidance drives commercial upside.
- Maintains governance processes including Delegation of Authority (DoA), ensuring pricing decisions meet compliance standards.
- Manages multiple concurrent pricing projects and deal support, coordinating stakeholders and resolving conflicting priorities.
- Communicates pricing rationale clearly, using data storytelling and financial insight to influence stakeholders and justify decisions.
- Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in pricing.
