Server

The Courtyard by Marriott in Buffalo Downtown/Canalside is seeking a Server for The Bistro. The Bistro serves up refreshing breakfast choices in the morning, and a variety of dinner, beer and wine options in the evening.

Requirements

• Welcoming guests, taking their orders, ringing orders into the POS system, and receiving payment for the order.
• Preparing food, coffee, and other beverages to meet company and brand standards, including alcohol.
• Setting up bar for service, prepare drink orders for guests, follow state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly, complete closing duties, and ensure cleanliness of bar and cooler areas.
• Providing assistance in Food and Beverage areas including bussing, cleaning, washing dishes and utensils. resetting tables, delivering food to guests, general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area.
