Senior Director, Programs (Builders and Developers)

Build It Green (BIG) is a California-based nonprofit transforming housing and neighborhood development to nurture people, places, and nature. They are seeking a Senior Director of Programs, responsible for leading programs across various development sectors and generating revenue. This role involves program design, implementation, and oversight, and collaboration with the Executive Director, board, and key partners, aiming to create impactful change in the residential real estate sector. The position requires a strategic leader with a strong understanding of the sector and a commitment to sustainability and community vitality.

Requirements

• Five-plus years of management/leadership experience in residential real estate development.
• Track record of successfully designing and implementing programs.
• Staff management experience and ability to nurture staff.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with co-workers and partners.
• Deep commitment to transformational programs.
• Strong communication skills.
