Senior Product Designer

BuildOps is looking for a talented senior product designer to join a well-funded, fast-growing startup in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in product design, expertise in Figma, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Requirements

• Independently own the end-to-end design process from user flow diagrams to polished designs that are ready for engineering handoff
• Participate in discovery calls and visits with our users and synthesize research into key insights that will support your decisions
• Partner with product managers and collaborate throughout the design process to deliver solutions that bring value to our users and our business
• Work closely with engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, constraints, and iterate on ideas quickly
• Participate in design reviews by sharing work with the team and providing constructive feedback to the other team members
• Own and expand our design system, from defining new components and patterns to documentation and governance
• Contribute to the design team’s culture of collaboration and support
• Mentor more junior members of the team
