911 Operations Division Manager

Buncombe County Public Safety Communications is seeking a 911 Operations Division Manager to oversee approximately 60 staff members and play a key role in the modernization and restructuring of our 911 system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law Enforcement, Human Services, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field
• Five (5) years of administrative experience in government or business including two (2) years of supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing emergency communications and radio transmissions
