Job Description
This Production Manager role involves ensuring the smooth operation of an Oilseed Crush production facility, focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include supervising production activities, managing sanitation, tracking KPIs, providing leadership to Crush Supervisors, and assisting the Plant Manager in planning shut-downs. The role contributes to a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to work a standard schedule with on-call availability
- Experience in soybean crushing, oil refining, milling, oil packaging operations, or related industrial operations
- 3+ years of experience
- Understanding of basic PGM (petroleum refining) operations
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) programs (if applicable)
