Job Description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient supervision of the Crush production department. This role involves ensuring safe operating conditions, maintaining productivity, ensuring quality and sanitation, identifying and addressing operational issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The supervisor will support the Production Manager in monitoring plant productivity and approving reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in soybean crushing, oil refining, milling, or oil packaging operations
- Strong communication, math, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computer software including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word
- Strong understanding of safety regulations
