Production, Shift Lead

The Shift Lead Hand will support the department Supervisor and provide front line support to employees when the Supervisor is off shift, while maintaining their regular job duties.

Requirements

• Sound understanding of Quality requirements
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Expertise in reading and interpreting engineering component drawings including a very strong understanding of metrology and GD&T
• Knowledge of ASME Code, ISO 9001, CSA N285.0 and N299 quality programs is an asset
• Ability to communicate, motivate and lead teams in the pursuit of optimal resolutions to problems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong communication and problem solving skills to work within a team-based environment
