Job Description
The Production Utility Operator is responsible for operating all equipment for production and batching lines. The position requires effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish a plus
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb stairs and ladders, and lift/move up to 50 pounds (up to 70 pounds as required)
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow established procedures and apply basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate directions clearly
- Ability to perform basic math calculations, including rates, ratios, and percentages
- Working knowledge of computers and manufacturing systems, including Microsoft Suite, Ross, Redzone, Excel, Markem, Pressco, and vision systems
