Job Description
Calvary Hospital and @Home in the Bronx, NY, are dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer patients and their families. The Admissions Nurse (Manhattan) is responsible for responding to referred patients, assessing for admission, and communicating patient status to the interdisciplinary team and referring sources. They provide education to patients and caregivers about hospice.
Requirements
- Current nursing license
- Current driver's license
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Registered nurse (RN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care experience (2 years preferred)
- Hospice experience (1 year preferred)
