Internship Developer, Learning to Work - Independence High School

CAMBA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internship Developer to join their Learning to Work (LTW) program for students aged 15-21. This program focuses on providing supportive services, career exploration, and work readiness support, helping these students earn a high school diploma and gain vocational skills. The position involves maintaining student records, coordinating internships, market-facing internship recruitment, and conducting weekly calls to potential employers.

Requirements

• Maintain professional relationships with students and maintain confidentiality.
• Develop, create, and/or request internship and job opportunities for students.
• Research and maintain accurate contact data for existing employers.
• Market CAMBA's internship placement services to potential employers.
• Build and maintain a list of internship openings.
• Review students’ resumes and send them to potential employers.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate between student and hiring manager.
• Prepare students for interviews.
• Collect LTW Agreement Forms.
• Collect and send new hire paperwork.
• Enter student’s internship start/end dates and hours.
• Submit bi-weekly phone calls to employers.
• Write narrative case notes.
• Update internship bulletin board.
• Follow-up with students after interviews.
