The Internship Placement Specialist maintains professional relationships with students, develops internship and job opportunities, and markets CAMBA's internship placement services. They research and maintain contact data for employers, initiate contact with potential employers, and build a list of internship openings. The Specialist matches students to internships, informs students of job duties, and reviews resumes to ensure professionalism and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Applicable experience
- Ability to adapt to the culture and environment of a public school
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employers, students, funders, other organizations, and the general public
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, decimals and percentages to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Internet software and Database software
- Must obtain Dept. of Education fingerprint clearance
