Job Description
Canacre, a leadership company in environment and land services, is seeking a Senior Wildlife Biologist to support projects throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves wildlife resource assessment, regulatory expertise, field surveys, report writing, and mitigation planning, with a focus on projects within the Energy Sector (transmission, oil & gas, renewables). This position requires a commitment to integrity, collaboration, and fostering a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related field of study.
- Professional designation with the BC College of Applied Biologists or with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists.
- 10+ years of professional experience as a biologist, specializing in wildlife biology or related role.
