Job Description
Canacre is seeking a Wildlife Biologist to lead biological surveys, monitor wildlife and vegetation, and provide technical guidance to project teams. The role involves all phases of a project from approval to abandonment, with a focus on environmental stewardship and collaboration with stakeholders. Requirements
- Conduct, direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary field surveys
- Act as a technical lead to project team
- Lead various discipline surveys for input into environmental assessment and compliance projects
- Verify that biologically sensitive areas are properly marked and flagged before work is done
- Inspect areas of concern and make recommendations to construction personnel
- Perform other duties as required
