Job Description
Join SCHL as a bilingual condominium unit underwriter, where you'll analyze mortgage insurance requests for condominiums with more than 24 units, evaluate financial and property-related risks, and develop tailored recommendations to meet underwriting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, accounting, finance, or real estate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in condominium unit underwriting, with demonstrated ability to autonomously evaluate and structure complex transactions
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and property-related structures
- Strong knowledge of construction financing, condominium unit underwriting, and credit risk analysis, combined with demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
