We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

• Wear gloves at all times when cleaning a room, regardless of contact with blood or body fluids.
• Perform daily cleaning of floors, bathrooms, and patient contact areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Clean blood spills using approved disinfectants and disposable cloths or rags, ensuring proper disposal of contaminated materials in laundry bags.
• Use gowns, masks, and gloves when working with biohazardous materials or infectious diseases to prevent contamination.
• Change mop water and clean mops after completing cleaning in each room to prevent cross-contamination.
• Follow instructions provided for cleaning rooms after patient use, ensuring thorough sanitation.
• Properly dispose of biohazard waste in designated red bags, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain awareness of infection control procedures and report any safety concerns or hazards.
