Capital Power is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join their Supply & Trading team, focusing on Eastern Power and Gas Markets. The role involves analyzing markets, developing pricing models, and supporting trading strategies.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Business
- Advanced quantitative degrees are preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in power or related markets
- Strong understanding of power and gas fundamentals and real options pricing
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, and programming experience in Python and SQL; familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
