Job Description
Carbon Robotics is a rapidly growing company revolutionizing weed control with robotics and AI. They are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to develop the mechanical systems for their diesel-electric platform, focusing on powertrain integration and developing supporting systems. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and impact.
Requirements
- 8-15 years experience designing automotive or heavy equipment powertrains, preferably with electric or hybrid systems
- High proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and FEA (ANSYS)
- Solid background in thermal management including liquid cooling systems, heat exchangers, and thermal interface materials
- Experience designing and integrating cast, machined, and fabricated housings for high-precision rotating equipment
- Knowledge of automotive/agricultural durability requirements and validation testing procedures
- Willingness to travel ~10% of the time to support products in the production & field environments
