Job Description
Carbon Robotics is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Vehicle Structures to develop and support robotic vehicle structures. This role involves architectural design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and product support. The company is a leader in automated weed control using robotics, computer vision, and lasers, and is seeking to build the next billion dollar ag-tech company with $157 million in funding from reputable investors. The ideal candidate will contribute to a growing team and help achieve the company's mission of innovating and disrupting the market.
Requirements
- 8 to 15 years experience designing, testing, producing, and supporting complex mechanical and structural parts.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Solidworks & Ansys) and FEA simulation.
- Extensive experience with sheet metal, bar stock, thermoplastic and composite parts.
- BS+ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
