Sr. Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

Carbon Robotics is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join their team in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will work on building and scaling cloud and on-prem infrastructure software to support their revolutionary Laser Weeding solution. The role requires 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, solid knowledge of Kubernetes, and proficiency in programming languages such as Go or Python.

Requirements

• Work as a Software Engineer building and implementing Cloud Infrastructure for 5+ years
• Solid Kubernetes and container orchestration experience
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other provisioning tools
• AWS or similar cloud provider experience required
• Relational databases (MySQL/Postgres/Sqlite) and Non-Relational databases
• Programming experience using Go or Python
• Proficiency with web services (REST/GRPC)
• Prometheus and/or Grafana or similar tools
• General knowledge to Deep Learning Pipelines a plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in multidisciplinary teams
• BS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
