Job Description
Care Dimensions is seeking a compassionate social worker to provide supportive services to terminally ill patients and families within their hospice program. The role involves identifying patient/family needs through direct service and consultation, and applying hospice philosophy and principles. Requirements
- Master's degree in social work or related field
- Current Massachusetts social work licensure (LICSW preferred, LCSW accepted)
- Minimum three years of counseling experience preferred
- Experience counseling terminally ill persons and their families
- Experience leading support groups and family psychosocial assessment skills
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and principles
- Self-directed, flexible, and cooperative with a team
