Job Description
Procure produce products at the best quality, price, and time frame for a family-owned food service distributor in Bayside, NY. The Buyer-Produce will negotiate with suppliers, maintain vendor relationships, and resolve order discrepancies.
Requirements
- Procure all items within the Produce category of Food Service products
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers to attain acceptable quality, best price, and timely deliveries
- Prepare a monthly report by vendor of purchasing activity
