Job Description
Catch22 College (formerly Catch22 Study Programme) is seeking a Part-time ESOL Vocational Tutor to support young people in gaining skills to progress into apprenticeship training, employment or further education.
Requirements
- Teach ESOL students from pre-entry level to Level 2.
- Teach Functional Skills Entry level Maths.
- Create an inspirational learning environment with high expectations of learner achievement, success and progression.
- Engage with parents regarding the progress of learners.
- Build effective and supporting relationships with students and parents.
- Ensure at least good outcomes for all pupils.
- Oversee and co-ordinate the development of subject(s) area.
- Plan, produce and update schemes of work.
- Prepare and deliver lessons/learning activities.
- Develop learning resources and learning routes.
- Implement and maintain systems for monitoring and evaluating learning activities.
- Maintain a regular system of monitoring, assessment, record-keeping and reporting of student’s progress.
- Maintain good order and discipline among the students.
- Work as part of a team to ensure effective pastoral support for learners.
- Undertake relevant administrative tasks associated with the teaching function.
