Job Description
Central City Concern is looking for a SUDs Counselor to join their team at the Blackburn Center. The ideal candidate will have a CADC-R or higher certification, a high school diploma or GED, and experience working in chemical dependency treatment. The role involves providing individual and group counseling, case management, and care coordination to support individuals on their recovery journey. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and offers competitive pay and robust benefits.
Requirements
- CADC-R or higher certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working in chemical dependency treatment
- Bilingual Spanish speaking language preferred
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of community and social service agencies
- Ability to work a range of hours
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects, and climb stairs with reasonable or no accommodation
