Job Description
The CDC Foundation is hiring an Epidemiologist I to support surveillance, prevention, and response activities within the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program. The epidemiologist will conduct surveillance and epidemiologic activities, analyze data, and implement innovative surveillance projects.
Requirements
- Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, health research, or a health-related field
- Prior experience leading data analysis
- Qualitative interview and coding skills
- Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting findings at conferences
- Statistical analysis software proficiency
- Organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and teams
- Ability to travel to regional and metro health departments in Tennessee
