Senior Electrical Engineer

Requirements

• - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Technology or related discipline.
• - Professional engineering (PE) license.
• - 7 years of related experience.
• - Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• - Experience with power systems for water, wastewater, industrial, federal, and transit facilities.
• - Familiar with industry and federal codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, NESC, IEEE, UFC, etc.).
• - Published in IEEE Journals or Transactions, or other technical journals is a plus.
• - Proficiency in power system planning.
• - Applied expertise in distributed generation, alternative energy, and microgrid systems.
• - Proficiency with designing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for medium voltage distribution systems including substations, switchgear, and standby generation systems.
• - Proficient with SKM Power*Tools and ETAP.
• - Proficiency with other electrical system analysis software (Easypower, EDSA/Paladin, Cyme, or Milsoft).
• - Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
• - Expert Knowledge of engineer principles of design.
• - Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.).
• - Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• - Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
