Tool Die Maker

The Tool and Die Maker will play a key role in supporting the Stamping Business Unit by building, maintaining, and improving fixtures, gauges, and progressive tooling.

Requirements

• Perform maintenance on production-ready stamping tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• Accurately document all activities in required databases and records.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate closely with team members to apply best practices in maintaining and qualifying progressive tooling.
• Monitor and support the refinement of toolroom processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Set up and operate manual toolroom equipment to produce high-quality, precise tooling components, fixtures, and other parts.
• Set up and operate toolroom measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Qualifications: Technical degree or equivalent machine tool experience, 3+ years building or maintaining progressive tooling, etc.
